Building a Foundation for Life-Long Learning
RMO contributes to better learning outcomes by upgrading teacher subject knowledge—especially in science—and pedagogical practice in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and partners such as UNESCO where programmes require.
We supply practical science equipment and guides so students can experience experiments, not only theory. Special attention goes to recruiting and supporting female teachers, who are essential for girls’ continued participation in upper grades.
Functional literacy components can accompany vocational streams so young people and adults gain foundational skills alongside technical training.
Direct interventions in schools and communities
Providing high schools with science laboratory furniture and equipment for practical learning in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
Upgrading pedagogical and scientific skills of school teachers, with a specific focus on including female educators.
Adult literacy programs that combine reading and writing with practical skills for income generation and household management.
Rehabilitating classrooms and providing essential furniture to ensure a safe and conducive learning environment for all.
